Emirates Diabetes Society (EDS) is organizing a scientific program on Endocrine and Diabetes to raise awareness among both specialists and non-endocrinologists such as GPs, family doctors and internists, working in the public and private sectors.
The standardized scientific content will be delivered primarily by the local faculty in their respective region.
The program is developed by senior faculty from UAE including the Endocrine / Diabetes department of Dubai Hospital, Tawam Hospital, Sheik Khalifa Medical Center (SKMC) and Sharjah University.

The Program will be provided over 4 full days in each region spread throughout 2019 and will be conducted in interactive workshop format
Brief Description of the Program and Its Objectives
The overall goal of the program is to establish a baseline unified Endocrinology / Diabetes knowledge for practicing healthcare providers across the country, covering the most common cases.
The program is composed of 3 Days on Diabetes and 1 Day on endocrinology to be delivered over 16 separate workshops.
The talks are delivered by senior endocrinologists and diabetologists already working in the field in the UAE.
The educational contents are identical in all centers.
The Program is CME accredited – offering 6 CME points per workshop.
